  Right — have been messing about with this thing for something like four months now and it's stuck on my phone, reckon I'd chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me a few days back. I'm UK based, mainly bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I'm coming from.
  
  What got me on it was actually embarrassing — I could never get my head round what an each way return actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I'd guess and get a shock. Now I type the odds in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

  What genuinely changed how I bet is the nerdier extras. There's an odds-to-probability calculator which shows you how much the bookie's taking, plus a kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are terrifying.   It's not perfect mind. The layout looks a bit basic — no flash, which honestly I don't mind but some will. On mobile it works though the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. Also there's nothing on the app store, just the site — slight shame but you asked.
  
  So yeah. Doesn't cost anything, not plastered in adverts, works. Anyone who honestly works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — it's saved me a fair few "wait, that's it?" moments.

  The reason I started using it was honestly pretty stupid — I could never figure out what an e/w payout would be when the place terms changed. Basically I'd wing it and then be surprised. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

Same tool covers the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, which is where most people I know mess it up.   The thing that really shifted things for me were the geekier extras. The probability converter that shows how much the bookie's taking, plus a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. Dutching calculator is decent when I'm splitting a race.
  
  Not all sunshine though. The interface is very functional, let's say — zero flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it works though the bigger tables are a squeeze. And nothing on the app store, just the site — doesn't bother me but worth saying.
